Dairy-free chia seed fruit dessert

Looking to make a easy and quick dessert? This healthier dessert looks great and tastes delicious. It's easy to assemble and takes no time at all. With this recipe your can pimp it to suite your taste.

Makes: 2
Takes: 5 minutes to make and 30 minutes to set.
Ingredients
6 tablespoons Chia seeds
300ml dairy-free milk
4 teaspoons Honey
Fruit of your choice for topping.
Method
1. Measure out the ingredients.
2. Add the 2 teaspoons honey (and additional flavour ingredient - see below) and mix well.
3. Add about a a quarter of the liquid to each of the drinking glasses or preferred dessert dishes and then add 3 tablespoons of Chia seeds to each.
4. Stir in the Chia seeds so the mix into the liquid.
5. Add more of the liquid to fill the glass two thirds of the way.
6. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to set.
7. Once the Chia seeds have set decorate the top with your preferred fruits.
8. Then to each dessert drizzle a teaspoon of honey over the fruits.
Tips
If you are adding frozen fruits you can just add then without defrosting. Then just keep in the fridge as this will let the berries defrost on top of the dessert.
It's great to make this dessert in advance so making in the morning is a good idea for eating after dinner.
If you prefer to go vegan you can swap out the honey for maple syrup or maybe a sugar-based flavoured syrup.

Pimp-up my chia
Here are some suggested ingredients you can add to the milk before pouring onto the chia seeds. Just a little to the milk and mix in well.
Maca powder
Cocoa powder
Instant coffee
Cocoa powder and instant coffee (mocha).
